Border And Edge Options

A merrow border gives a thicker traditional overlock edge. It can look strong and classic, especially on simple shapes, but it adds more bulk.

A satin border gives a cleaner stitched edge and is usually better for more complex shapes or when a flatter edge is preferred.

A laser-cut or heat-cut edge gives a flatter finish and may suit selected designs, but most embroidered keyrings look more finished with satin or merrow.

Artwork Guidance

Clean artwork with strong shapes, readable text, and clear colour areas works best for embroidered keyrings. Vector artwork such as AI or PDF is preferred, but high-resolution PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP, EMB, and DST files can also be uploaded for review.

Very small lettering, thin lines, gradients, shadows, and photographic details may need to be simplified. If the design has fine detail that will not stitch clearly, USA Badge may recommend a woven keyring or printed keyring instead.
